Here is the English meaning of the nine verses (Navakam) dedicated to Swami Chinmayananda:

I bow to the divine Master, Sri Chinmayacharya, who propagated the true knowledge and meaning of the Bhagavad Gita. His birth is noble and purposeful.

Born and renowned in Kerala, he became the crowning glory for the entire land of Bharat (India). I bow to Sri Chinmayananda, who is completely free from worldly desires.

I prostrate before the divine consciousness of Sri Chinmayananda, who embodies the absolute essence of all Vedantic knowledge imparted by great sages like Sri Shankaracharya.

I bow to the divine mission of Swami Chinmayananda, whose wisdom transcends mere words and books, and who is revered by the entire world, much like Swami Vivekananda.

Always engaged in imparting supreme wisdom and fully blessed by Sri Shankaracharya, I seek the grace of Sri Chinmayananda.

I bow to the true Guru, Sri Chinmayananda, whose speech flows effortlessly by the grace of Goddess Saraswati, and who possesses the extraordinary skill to paint vivid pictures through his words.

I prostrate before the universal teacher, who is known through Vedanta, who dispels the ignorance of mankind, and who shines brightly as the light of pure consciousness.

I bow to Sri Chinmayananda, the embodiment of absolute Truth-Consciousness-Bliss, who spent time in the Himalayas as the beloved disciple of the great sage Swami Tapovan Maharaj.

I prostrate before Sri Chinmayananda, who beautifully expounded the profound meaning and essence of the divine names in the Sri Vishnu Sahasranama, and who is now merged into the Supreme Brahman.
